Who should attend?

Gathering and Transmissions Pipeline Construction and Maintenance Employees

 Training is designed specifically for employees of the gathering and transmission pipeline construction and maintenance industry. This is a customized training event designed to address pipeline specific issues, challenges and best practices for damage prevention.

  Round table discussions and “war room stories” are part of this well received workshop.  Accurate locating techniques and safe excavation practices are the premises for this training.

 

What you will learn

Course focus is on methods and best practices for locating, marking and protecting underground pipelines within the gathering and transmission network.  We address pipeline specific challenges and solutions as well as best practice basics.  With 50% of the training done outdoors, students will enjoy the opportunity to apply classroom training hands on.

   Pipeline Locator Knowledge and Skills Evaluation and Documentation

 Written testing to assess knowledge and a TPE "task performance evaluation" is used to assess technical skills hands-on.  Customer specific OQ testing can be administered or facilitated upon request
